So maybe I’m just having a long day and feeling nihilistic – but I think there is an important realization to have about this industry and the long term success of your band that you need to have before you get too bitter and jaded. This entire thing is completely arbitrary. There are factors beyond your control that can change whether or not you end up being successful.
