Things are shaping up to be fairly grim at the summer box office this year. The Los Angeles Times reports that studios are expecting to make 10% less between May and September than they did last year, with the primary culprits thought to be franchise fatigue and a generally weaker crop of movies, partially so weak because February - April already gave us some of the year's best and highest-grossing movies with Get Out, Logan, and Beauty and the Beast.
