14 nominations for La La Land. Holy crap. That ties it for the most nominations in history.
Amy Adams snubbed.
Lots of color in those acting nominations. Denzel, Ruth, Viola, Octavia, Mahershala, Naomie, and yes, Dev Patel.
I remember watching Oscar pundits discuss how the makeup Oscar would either go to Florence Foster Jenkins or Deadpool, and then neither film was nominated? Instead we got Suicide Squad?
Passengers with two nominations?
Kubo got two nominations, Moana got two, but Zootopia got one?
